So glad that you are here! Check out my latest blog.

First week on the world race!

Hey everyone this is my first blog while officially on the race. First off, I would like to start by stating that I am truly and incredibly grateful for all who have donated and continue to support me throughout this amazing journey to grow the kingdom of God! You all are so amazing.

What has happened so far?

This first week has been jammed packed with tons of insightful sessions (teachings), holy spirit filled worship and transforming baptisms!

Day one. September 2nd

Met the squad and the squad leader – Every one of the leaders that I have had the chance to talk with are incredibly cool people who are on fire for the lord. Banks is my team leader, and he is a super awesome, down to earth guy who truly loves the lord and walks in the spirit of the lord. I can’t wait to grow closer and get to know the whole squad.

Day two through seven. September 3rd through the 9th

We had one last dinner with the family and then said our heartfelt goodbyes for nine months. Love ya Mom, Dad, Aj, and Leila:). Things got real fast. I am now camping in Georgia with 50 people who I only know by WhatsApp profile pictures.
The daily schedule for camp is usually as follows:

-Morning Devotions with squad
-Breakfast
-Morning Worship
-Morning session
-Squad debriefs
– Lunch
– Afternoon session
-Team discussion time
– Dinner
– Free time/ team builders
– Sleep

The sessions were incredibly knowledgeable, and we have heard from a variety of speakers. The speakers were great, but my favorite time so far has been the squad debriefs and the team time because we get to ask questions about anything and hear amazing testimony’s of how the lord has brought people from death in sin to a life in Christ. I am learning that everyone has come from a different upbringing and has unique stories, but we all have the same goal and purpose to grow in the Spirt of Jesus Christ therefore allowing us to learn from one another and from the word of God.

Day 8 September 10th- The sabbath
Today we all did laundry, spent time in the word, and rested. Favorite day.
Overall, it has been exciting, and I can’t wait to get to know the squad better and to begin ministry!
A verse that has been on my heart all week is:

Romans 8:1-2

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
